Throughout the year, the Sailing Division of the Yacht Club de Monaco offers members a wide variety of sailing activities adapted to their level and nautical experience.

FOR BEGINNERS
Sessions are available for those wishing to discover the joys of sailing, onboard J24s every Saturday from 9:30am to 12:00pm (noon), as well as on Laser Picos, two evenings a week from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

TO HELP YOU IMPROVE
Practice regatta sessions, organised on J/704s on Saturday afternoons from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.

FOR SEASONED SAILORS
The YCM invites its members who want to sail as crew to participate in the J/24 Monaco Championship, organised on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 1:30pm to 5:00pm and following the events programme.

FOR COMPETITIVE YACHTSMEN
The YCM organises various internationally renowned events, such as the Primo Cup (monotype regatta), the Trophée Grimaldi Sanremo-Monaco-Sanremo, the Palermo – Montecarlo (offshore regatta), the Wally Record… so many internationally renowned regattas, attracting sailing’s international elite and enabling members to compete at the highest level. Seasoned crew members fly the YCM colours while competing in regattas organised by reciprocal and twinned yacht clubs.

Particularly active is the Smeralda 888 series, which offers a truly international regatta circuit; the Smeralda 888 International Championship, with notable events taking place in Porto Cervo, Saint-Tropez and Corsica.

FOR CLASSIC YACHTING ENTHUSIASTS
For Society Members who are passionate about traditional yachting, training sessions are organised (subject to availability) on the Yacht Club de Monaco’s 1909 gaff cutter, Tuiga.

FOR MOTORBOAT FANS
Society Members wishing to take the helm of a motorboat can take advantage of the motorboat license course available at the YCM (subject to availability).
