Captain’s Club

Les Capitaines à l’honneur

Launched in September 2007, this club, exclusively for captains qualified with the Captain 500 GT certificate (or equivalent), has more than 120 members. Through this entity, the Yacht Club’s objective is to offer captains of all nationalities a meeting point where they can share ideas and experiences all year round.

“While the Yacht Club brings together more than 800 boat owners, including 24 of the world’s 100 largest yachts, we also wanted to open our doors to the captains of large yachts, who are essential players in the yachting world” , explained Bernard d’Alessandri.

This Club offers a combination of friendly meetings and events (Captains’ Regatta, ski outings and a number of other events organised in collaboration with the Société des Bains de Mer) and more conventional forums at which captains can debate key yachting issues on a monthly basis at the YCM, on Thursdays before the Happy Hour, in an informational environment.
